Ummm... wow. What do you think would have happened had that been a gay rights activist in the middle of a Yes on 8 rally?

I hope the reaction would have been better than that!!! I mean come on she's an elderly woman!! And they stomped on a cross...t I thought they were advocating peace and tollerance!!! Wow!!!

I agree with the protests, but I believe they need to follow the words of the constitution: "the right of the people PEACEABLY to assemble".

its true, they could have said more by just standing there nicely holding their signs, earning a respect for a peacable assembly despite different viewpoints. Pushing an old lady around doesn't shine very good light on them now.

This reminds me of my AP English teacher, who goes to the Mesa Temple every year while they have the Easter Pageant and protests with the protestors... except he protests things like rubbery scrambled eggs at IHOP and stuff like that. It is really funny, but it does pageant goers a favor as he distracts the protestors who are being less... loving. I don't know what religion he is...
